Plant Description
Quercus x bimundorum, also known as the Two Worlds Oak, is a hybrid between Quercus alba (White Oak) from North America and Quercus robur (English Oak) from Europe. This semi-evergreen tree boasts attractive, deeply lobed leaves that are bright green in spring, maturing to dark green in summer and transitioning to warm red and bronze in fall. It typically grows 15-20 meters (50-65 feet) tall, forming a broad, rounded canopy that provides excellent shade. Two Worlds Oak bark is gray-brown and develops a rugged, furrowed texture with age. In spring, it produces slender catkins, followed by acorns that are loved by wildlife.
