Product Description
Puya raimondii, also known as the Queen of the Andes, is a giant terrestrial bromeliad native to the high-altitude regions of Peru and Bolivia. This monumental plant can grow up to 3 meters (10 feet) in height, forming a dense rosette of long, narrow, spiny leaves. After several decades, it produces a towering flower spike, reaching up to 10 meters (33 feet) tall, covered in thousands of creamy-white blooms that attract pollinators. As a slow-growing, monocarpic species, it flowers only once before dying, making each bloom a rare and spectacular event.
