Eriosyce reichei f. krausii, formerly known as Neoporteria krausii, is a small, globular to cylindrical cactus native to the arid regions of northern Chile. This cactus typically grows solitary or in small clusters. It features a dark green to reddish-brown stem with prominent ribs and tubercles. The spines are straight, stiff, and vary in color from yellow to dark brown. The plant produces funnel-shaped flowers that are bright pink to magenta, emerging from the apex. Eriosyce reichei f. krausii thrives in well-draining, sandy to rocky soils and requires full sun.
