Epithelantha bokei

Epithelantha bokei, a captivating cactus, distinguishes itself with its diminutive stature and captivating appearance. This small, button-like cactus, rarely exceeding 2 cm in height, forms clusters of spherical to short cylindrical stems densely covered in tiny, white, pectinate spines. These spines, arranged in a star-like pattern, completely obscure the green stem beneath. The apex of each stem boasts a woolly center from which emerge tiny, pink or white flowers. These delicate blooms, often less than 1 cm in diameter, add a touch of color to the otherwise monochromatic appearance of the Epithelantha bokei.
