Epithelantha bokei

Epithelantha bokei, also known as Boke's button cactus, is a small, slow-growing cactus. Its most distinctive feature is its covering of dense, white spines that completely obscure the green body of the plant. These spines grow from small, tubercle-like projections. The Epithelantha bokei produces tiny, pink flowers that emerge from the apex of the plant, often hidden amongst the spines. These flowers give way to small, fleshy fruits that are typically red when ripe.
