Product Description
The Carosello Scopatizzo Barese is an ancient, traditional Italian cucumber-melon variety native to the Puglia region, particularly around Bari. Known for its small, round to oval fruits, it features a pale green or lightly striped skin with a slightly fuzzy texture. The flesh is crisp, juicy, and mildly sweet, with a refreshing cucumber-like flavor and a hint of melon. This plant produces high yields and is prized for its heat tolerance and adaptability. Unlike standard cucumbers, Carosello varieties are less bitter and have a unique flavor, making them a favorite in summer salads or as a snack.
