Copiapoa cinerea x atacamensis is a captivating hybrid cactus that combines the unique features of Copiapoa cinerea and Copiapoa atacamensis. This slow-growing cactus features a globular to slightly columnar body, typically measuring 10-20 cm in height and 5-12 cm in diameter. Its skin is a striking grayish-green to blue-gray, often covered with a powdery, waxy coating that gives it a silvery appearance. The cactus has well-defined ribs with white, woolly areoles and short, dark spines. In summer, it produces small, yellow, funnel-shaped flowers. This hybrid is highly valued for its unique coloration, sculptural form, and ease of care.
