Product Description
The Copiapoa atacamensis is a striking cactus native to the Atacama Desert in Chile. Its globular to cylindrical form is typically clustered, forming large mounds over time. The stem is a muted blue-green or grayish-green with pronounced ribs and woolly areoles. It produces sharp, black or dark brown spines that contrast its surface. In summer, yellow flowers bloom from the top of the plant, adding a burst of color against the desert hues. This resilient cactus is specially adapted to one of the driest regions on earth, withstanding extreme drought and harsh sunlight.
