The Vienna Kohlrabi Purple is a vibrant, heirloom kohlrabi variety known for its striking purple skin and crisp, tender flesh. The round, bulbous stem develops above the soil, typically reaching 3-5 inches in diameter. Inside, the white flesh is mild, sweet, and slightly nutty, making it perfect for fresh salads, slaws, or cooked in stews and stir-fries. The leaves are also edible, similar to kale or collard greens.
