Brasilicactus haselbergii is a small, globular cactus native to the grasslands of southern Brazil, renowned for its dense covering of fine white spines that create a fuzzy appearance over its deep green, ribbed stem. It produces brilliant scarlet-red to orange flowers that emerge in a crown near the apex, forming a vibrant contrast with the pale spination.
