Product Description
Ancistrocactus uncinatus, also known as the Texas hook cactus, is a rugged, globular to short cylindrical cactus native to the Chihuahuan Desert of northern Mexico and southern Texas. It’s easily recognized by its dramatic hooked central spines, often dark brown to black, which curl outward from woolly areoles along prominent tubercles. Its compact body produces lovely yellowish-green to pale cream flowers, typically with reddish centers. This hardy desert species is prized for its distinctive spination and resistance to arid, extreme conditions.
