Aloidendron pillansii (syn Aloe pillansii)

Aloidendron pillansii (syn. Aloe pillansii), commonly known as the Giant Quiver Tree, is a critically endangered species in the Asphodelaceae family. This majestic succulent tree is characterized by its massive, smooth, gray-green trunk, which can reach heights of up to 10 meters. The branches are topped with rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves armed with small teeth along the margins. The Giant Quiver Tree produces bright yellow flowers in winter, attracting a variety of pollinators.
