Product Description
Agave titanota 'Oaxaca' is a rare and striking succulent, renowned for its dramatically sculptural form and compact, rosette-shaped growth. Native to the semi-arid zones of Oaxaca, Mexico, this distinctive selection stands out with thick, chalky-blue to silvery-gray leaves edged in heavily textured, contrasting white margins and fierce, dark brown to black spines. The leaves are broad, somewhat recurved, and often marked by imprints from adjacent foliage, creating mesmerizing patterns. Each rosette grows low and wide, giving the plant a bold, architectural silhouette. This cultivar is slower growing but exceptionally ornamental, often collected for its exaggerated teeth and high contrast between the powdery leaf surface and the jagged spines. Agave titanota 'Oaxaca' thrives in xeric conditions, making it ideal for rock gardens, desert landscapes, and container cultivation. Its compact size and eye-catching coloration make it a standout among rare agaves, particularly for collectors who value form, structure, and origin-specific genetics.
