This hybrid forms a striking rosette of broad, fleshy leaves that can grow up to 1.2 meters in diameter. The leaves are typically blue-gray to green-gray, featuring smooth to slightly undulating margins and edged with sharp, dark spines. This plant inherits the robust size and hardiness of A. ovatifolia, the unique spiny features of A. eborispina, and the compact, symmetrical form of A. parryi. Over many years, it may produce a tall flower spike with greenish-yellow flowers, but it is monocarpic, meaning it dies after flowering.
