Product Description
Ancistrocactus scheerii is a striking barrel-shaped cactus native to the Chihuahuan Desert of northern Mexico, known for its robust, globular form and fierce hooked central spines, often dark brown to reddish. Its body is deeply ribbed with woolly areoles and dense radial spines, giving it a rugged, armored look. In late spring to early summer, it produces vivid magenta to purplish-pink flowers at the crown. Highly collectible, this species is admired for its spiny elegance and compact desert adaptation.
