Product Description
Arequipa erectocylindrica is a rare and captivating columnar cactus endemic to the arid highlands of southern Peru. It features upright, cylindrical stems with pronounced ribs, spaced areoles, and a mix of stiff central spines and finer radial spines that provide a rugged texture. In late spring, it blooms with vibrant, funnel-shaped flowers in tones of pink to magenta, opening from near the apex. Known for its erect habit, colorful flowers, and limited wild range, it’s a prized choice for South American cactus collectors.
