Product Description

The Pyrrhocactus saxifraga is a unique and resilient cactus native to the rocky terrains of Argentina. This species features small, globular to slightly cylindrical stems that are a vibrant green to bluish-green, often solitary but occasionally forming small clusters. The ribs are well-defined, adorned with prominent tubercles. The spines are short, stout, and can range in color from yellow to reddish-brown, creating a striking contrast. In spring, the Pyrrhocactus saxifraga blooms with beautiful, funnel-shaped yellow flowers, emerging from the top of the stems, adding a splash of color to its rugged appearance.
