Plant Description

Euphorbia dendroides, also known as the tree spurge, is a bushy, semi-succulent shrub with a distinctive tree-like form, reaching up to 2 meters tall. Its fleshy, green stems branch in a symmetrical, umbrella-like pattern, adorned with narrow, lance-shaped leaves that turn vivid red or orange before shedding in summer. In spring, it produces clusters of yellow-green cyathia, characteristic of Euphorbias, surrounded by showy bracts. This Mediterranean native is both drought-tolerant and strikingly architectural.
