Plant Description

The Snowball Viburnum (Viburnum opulus cv. ‘Roseum’), also known as Guelder Rose, is celebrated for its dramatic clusters of round, snowball-like white flowers. Each spherical flower cluster grows up to 3 inches across, blooming prolifically in mid to late spring. As the flowers mature, they shift from greenish-white to pure white, eventually aging to a soft pink. This deciduous shrub reaches 10–12 feet tall, with attractive, lobed green leaves that turn reddish-purple in fall, adding seasonal interest. Viburnum ‘Roseum’ creates an eye-catching display in borders and hedges with its dense blooms and lush foliage.
