Product Description
Thelocactus hexaedrophorus is a globular cactus native to northeastern Mexico, recognized for its slightly variegated appearance. This cactus grows to about 7-10 cm in diameter, with a squat, rounded shape. It has thick, wavy ribs and areoles that bear clusters of short, stout spines, which are typically white to gray. The variegation presents as irregular patches of yellow or cream on the green body, adding a unique visual appeal. It produces large, showy flowers in shades of white, pink, or magenta, emerging from the top. This species thrives in well-draining, rocky or sandy soils and prefers full sun to partial shade.
