Product Description

Rathbunia sonorensis is a distinctive cactus species native to the Sonoran Desert in Mexico. This cactus forms a solitary, cylindrical stem that can grow up to 30-50 cm in height and 10-12 cm in diameter. The stem is a vibrant green with numerous ribs lined with areoles. Each areole bears clusters of long, straight, yellow to brown spines. During the blooming season, it produces large, funnel-shaped flowers that range in color from bright pink to magenta, emerging from the upper part of the stem. Rathbunia sonorensis thrives in well-draining, sandy or rocky soils and requires full sun.
