Plant Description

Quercus x turneri, commonly known as Turner's Oak, is a semi-evergreen oak hybrid prized for its resilience and ornamental appeal. With thick, leathery, dark green leaves that retain their color well into winter, this tree combines the durability of English oak with the evergreen qualities of the Holm oak. Reaching a height of up to 15 meters (50 feet), its branches spread widely, creating a rounded, dense canopy. Its bark is gray-brown, rugged and deeply furrowed, giving it a majestic presence. In spring, small catkins emerge, followed by acorns that attract wildlife.
