Product Description

The Quercus frainetto, commonly known as the Hungarian oak, is a majestic deciduous tree, reaching up to 30 meters in height. Its broad, rounded crown is supported by a strong, straight trunk with deeply furrowed bark. The large, deeply lobed dark green leaves are a distinguishing feature, turning golden-yellow in the fall. This tree is native to southeastern Europe and is highly valued for its resilience and grand appearance. In late spring, the Hungarian oak produces small, inconspicuous catkins followed by acorns, providing food for wildlife.
