Plant Description

The Quercus canariensis, or Algerian oak, is a majestic deciduous tree native to North Africa and the Iberian Peninsula. It features a broad crown with deeply lobed, dark green leaves and a thick trunk covered in rough bark. In autumn, its leaves turn yellow to brown, creating a beautiful contrast. Its acorns are oblong and provide food for wildlife. This oak prefers humid climates and can reach heights of up to 30 meters, making it a commanding presence in landscapes. Its robust growth and wide-spreading branches offer excellent shade and habitat for many species
