Product Description
Eriosyce taltalensis var. transiens is recognized for its solitary or clumping growth habit, prominent in the extreme conditions of northern Chile. It features globose to elongated globose stems covered in a greyish waxy coating, enhancing drought resistance. The plant has a big taproot for water storage, 12-13 sharp to obtuse ribs, and areoles with soft yellowish to orange-brownish wool. Spines vary in color, with one central and 5-7 radial spines. Flowers are funnel-shaped, yellow, blooming in spring or summer.
