Product Description

Pyrrocactus spec. from El Sarco, Chile, is a unique cactus species often developing two distinct heads. It has a cylindrical to slightly globular shape with a green to bluish-green epidermis, pronounced ribs, and well-defined areoles. The spines are long, thick, and can range in color from yellow to brown. This species blooms in spring and summer, producing large, funnel-shaped flowers in bright red or orange. Adapted to the arid environment of northern Chile, it thrives in well-draining, sandy or rocky soils and full sun.
