Plant Description

Puya dasylirioides is a striking perennial plant native to the Andean regions. Known for its dramatic rosette of spiky, silvery-green leaves, this Bromeliad forms a dense, architectural clump that can grow up to 1.5 meters in diameter. The leaves are long and narrow, with sharp serrated edges. During the flowering season, it sends up an impressive flower spike adorned with numerous small, tubular flowers ranging in color from greenish-yellow to purple. This plant is not only eye-catching but also incredibly resilient, thriving in arid conditions.
