Plant Description

The Populus purdomii, or Purdom’s poplar, is a fast-growing deciduous tree native to China. It is prized for its straight trunk and oval to heart-shaped leaves with finely serrated edges, which give it a distinctive, elegant appearance. The foliage is a rich green in summer, turning golden-yellow in autumn. The bark is smooth and gray, contrasting beautifully with the lush green leaves. At 100-125 cm, young specimens are already showing their characteristic leafy form and rapid growth, making them ideal for landscaping, hedges, or windbreaks.
