Plant Description

The Serbian spruce or Picea omorika is a graceful, narrow, pyramidal conifer, native to the Balkans. Its striking needles are dark green on top and silvery-white underneath, creating a shimmering two-tone effect. This evergreen can reach heights of 20–35 meters (65–115 feet) with a slender, elegant profile. Its bark is thin and grayish-brown, often peeling slightly. The cones are small and cylindrical, maturing from purple to brown. Adaptable and hardy, this spruce is prized for its beauty and ability to thrive in urban and natural settings.
