Product Description

Pachycereus pringlei 'LONG SPINES', commonly known as the Mexican giant cardon or elephant cactus, is one of the largest cacti in the world, capable of reaching heights of up to 20 meters. This impressive cactus features a thick, columnar trunk that can grow up to 1 meter in diameter, often branching out into several stout arms. The blue-green stems are ribbed with rows of prominent areoles bearing sharp spines. In the spring and summer, it produces large, white, funnel-shaped flowers that bloom at night, followed by edible red fruits. Pachycereus pringlei is a symbol of the Sonoran Desert and is known for its longevity and massive size.
