Product Description

Neochilenia huascensis, also known as Eriosyce huascensis, is a small, globular cactus native to the coastal desert regions of northern Chile. This cactus has a dark green to brownish-green body with pronounced ribs and areoles. It features dense clusters of short, stout, reddish-brown spines. In spring or early summer, it produces large, funnel-shaped flowers that are typically bright yellow or red. Adapted to arid environments, this species thrives in well-draining, sandy or rocky soils and requires full sun to partial shade.
