Plant Description

Hildewintera colademononis, commonly known as the Monkey Tail Cactus, is a columnar cactus species native to Bolivia. It features long, trailing stems covered in soft, white spines, resembling a monkey's tail. These stems can grow up to 2.5 meters long. The cactus produces bright red or orange tubular flowers, primarily in the spring and summer, which attract pollinators. The plant is well-suited for hanging baskets where its trailing nature can be showcased.
