Plant Description
The Grevillea robusta, commonly known as the Silky Oak, is a fast-growing evergreen tree native to Australia. It is prized for its finely divided, fern-like silvery-green foliage and its spectacular clusters of bright golden-orange flowers that bloom in spring and early summer. These flowers are rich in nectar, attracting bees, birds, and butterflies. The tree’s tall, upright growth and ornamental gray-brown bark make it a striking feature in gardens and landscapes. Highly adaptable, the Silky Oak is often used as a shade tree or windbreak in tropical and subtropical regions.
