Product Description

Ferocactus wislizeni ssp. herrerae is a striking barrel-shaped cactus known for its deep green ribbed body, heavily adorned with dense clusters of curved spines that range from yellow to reddish. Mature specimens often display an impressive crown of vivid red or orange flowers during late summer. This subspecies is slightly more compact than the main species, with more pronounced central spines, giving it a rugged, armored appearance. Native to arid regions of Mexico, it thrives in dry, rocky environments.
