Product Description

Ferocactus viridescens is a compact, barrel-shaped cactus native to southern California and northern Baja California, known for its deep green, glossy skin and pronounced vertical ribs. It bears stout, straight to slightly curved spines ranging from yellow to reddish-brown, creating a rugged contrast against the body. In late spring to summer, it blooms with striking yellow flowers with reddish mid-stripes, adding a vivid crown atop its armored form. This cactus remains low-growing, making it ideal for rocky gardens and container displays.
