Product Description

Ferocactus latispinus 'Spiralis' is a rare and mesmerizing form of the Devil’s Tongue Barrel Cactus, collected near Teotitlán, Oaxaca. This variant features dramatic spiraling ribs that twist gracefully around the body, setting it apart from typical specimens. Deep blue-green epidermis contrasts with striking, flattened central spines that range from crimson to ivory, forming a bold cross pattern. Flowers are lavender to magenta, funnel-shaped, and bloom in cooler months, adding vibrant contrast to the plant’s armored form.
