Product Description

Ferocactus echidne, often known as the Pena Blanca barrel cactus, is a stout, globular to columnar cactus with thick, prominent ribs and fierce, hooked central spines. The deep green epidermis is ridged with striking yellow to reddish spines, creating a bold texture. In summer, it blooms with large, pale yellow flowers, often attracting pollinators. Native to the Queretaro region of Mexico, this cactus forms a solitary presence or small clusters with age, adapting beautifully to arid and rocky landscapes.
