Product Description

Eriosyce ceratistes ssp. combarbalensis is a distinctive cactus known for its globular to short cylindrical shape and textured, tuberculate surface. The stems are typically dark green to grayish-brown, covered with prominent, conical tubercles that give the plant a rugged appearance. This subspecies features short, robust spines that are black to dark brown. In spring to summer, it produces large, bright pink to magenta flowers that bloom from the apex, creating a stunning contrast against the darker body. Native to the arid regions of Chile, it is well-suited for rock gardens, containers, and succulent collections.
