Plant Description

The Encephalartos laurentianus is a rare and massive cycad, renowned for its striking palm-like fronds and imposing size. Its arching leaves can reach up to 6 meters, forming a lush, dense crown of deep green pinnate foliage. The robust trunk, often clustering, can grow over 6 meters tall. This dioecious species produces large, cylindrical cones, with the male cones reaching 90 cm in length, while the female cones are even bulkier.
