The Encephalartos laurentianus is a rare and massive cycad, renowned for its striking palm-like fronds and imposing size. This dioecious species produces large, cylindrical cones, with the male cones reaching 90 cm in length, while the female cones are even bulkier. Native to the Congo, this prehistoric plant is highly valued for its ornamental grandeur and ancient lineage.
