Echinocereus russanthus var. fiehnii LAU1076 is a unique cactus known for its cylindrical stems that grow up to 25 cm tall. The stems are covered with dense, white spines and prominent dark brown to black central spines, creating a striking visual contrast against the green body of the plant. In late spring, this cactus produces large, vibrant pink to magenta flowers that can reach up to 8 cm in diameter. The flowers bloom from the upper portions of the stems, adding a splash of color to its spiky appearance.
