The Echinocereus adustus is a striking cactus distinguished by its dense spines and vibrant flowers. This cactus has a cylindrical shape with a dark green body adorned with numerous ribs and areoles from which emerge clusters of long, sharp spines. The spines can vary in color, typically white to brown. In spring, it blooms with large, eye-catching flowers that are pink to magenta.
