Product Description

The Dioon edule,  is a very slow-growing cycad that resembles a small palm. Its stiff, dark green fronds emerge in a crown from a thick, rough trunk. Each frond is composed of numerous linear, leathery leaflets with pointed tips. This prehistoric-looking plant can reach heights of up to 2 meters, although it often stays smaller. Dioon edule is highly drought-tolerant and admired for its architectural form, making it a striking addition to landscapes. Its ancient lineage dates back to the time of dinosaurs, adding an intriguing historical aspect.
