Copiapoa cinerea TALTAL x hypogaea (GREY FORM) TUN15

Copiapoa goldii X atacamensis is a hybrid cactus featuring a combination of traits from both parent species. This cactus forms clumps of spherical to short cylindrical stems with a dark green to greyish-green epidermis. The stems have well-defined ribs and areoles, which are covered with clusters of short, dark brown to black spines. During the summer, it produces small, bright yellow, funnel-shaped flowers that emerge from the top of the stems. This hybrid is well adapted to the arid conditions of northern Chile, thriving in rocky, well-drained soils and intense sunlight.
