Copiapoa atacamensis X hypogaea DARK GREY is a hybrid cactus characterized by its dark grey, almost black epidermis. The plant has a globular to slightly cylindrical shape and is known for its prominent ribs and areoles, which are densely covered with short, dark spines. This cactus often forms clusters and can grow quite large over time. It produces small, yellow to pale yellow flowers that emerge from the top of the stems during the summer. Native to the Atacama Desert, it is adapted to extremely arid conditions and intense sunlight.
