Product Description

Ancistrocactus tobuschii, also known as Tobusch fishhook cactus, is a rare, miniature barrel cactus native to the limestone outcrops of central Texas. It features a small, globular stem with pronounced tubercles, woolly areoles, and dramatic, hooked central spines—often dark brown to black—surrounded by slender white radial spines. In spring, it produces lavender to pale pink flowers, forming a gentle contrast with its rugged exterior. Endemic and endangered, it is highly valued by collectors for its compact beauty and limited wild range.
