Product Description

Agave scabra is a rugged, slow-growing desert agave known for its thick, leathery blue-gray leaves covered in a coarse, textured surface, giving it a distinctly "scabrous" (rough) appearance. The heavily toothed leaf margins and prominent terminal spines contribute to its armored aesthetic. Native to northern Mexico and Texas, it thrives in harsh, dry conditions and forms large, bold rosettes that radiate raw desert strength—perfect for wild, naturalistic landscapes or collectors of hardy agaves.
