Plant Description

Agave pedunculifera is a rare and little-known Mexican agave forming tight rosettes of broad, lance-shaped green leaves, often with a soft glaucous sheen and bordered by small, evenly spaced teeth. The species is named for its tall, slender flower stalk (peduncle) which rises dramatically above the rosette when mature. Native to southern Mexico, it thrives on dry slopes and rocky outcrops, and is prized for its clean form, symmetry, and adaptability in arid gardens or collections.
