Product Description

Agave marmorata, known for its strikingly marbled, bluish-gray leaves, is a large, slow-growing rosette-forming succulent native to semi-arid zones of Oaxaca and Puebla in Mexico. The thick, undulating foliage forms dense spirals with deeply channeled surfaces and spined edges, giving it an almost sculptural presence. This species may live for decades before sending up a towering, branched inflorescence bearing greenish-yellow flowers. Agave marmorata, also called Maguey tepextate, produces small, dark brown to black seeds, flat and disc-shaped, with a slightly glossy, papery texture.
