Plant Description

The Agave americana ‘Mediopicta Yellow’, also known as the yellow variegated century plant, is a striking, medium-sized succulent that forms a dramatic rosette of broad, sword-shaped leaves. Its green leaves are adorned with bold, creamy-yellow central stripes and sharp spines along the edges. This variegated agave typically grows to a width of 1–1.5 meters (3–5 feet), making it an eye-catching focal point in arid gardens or container displays. Highly drought-tolerant, this plant occasionally sends up a tall flowering stalk with yellow blooms before the rosette dies, often leaving offsets.
