Plant Description

The Agave americana ‘Marginata Variegated’, commonly known as the variegated century plant, is a stunning succulent prized for its bold, rosette-forming foliage. Its long, broad, sword-shaped leaves are blue-green with prominent creamy-yellow margins, edged with sharp spines for a striking contrast. Mature plants can reach a width of 1.5–2.5 meters (5–8 feet) and occasionally produce a towering flowering stalk up to 7 meters (23 feet) with yellow flowers. Highly drought-tolerant, this dramatic plant thrives in arid gardens and adds a strong architectural presence to any landscape.
